Te Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros have chosen to stay in Florida for Spring Training. The teams will remain in Florida for the next 30 years and Florida will continue to retain its 15 Spring Training teams in the Grapefruit League.
Major League Baseball has also announced that the 2017 Major League Baseball All Star game will be hosted in Miami, which is a great win for the entire state. Florida has 2 baseball specialty license plates - Marlins and Rays - that can be purchased online. The wait is over for Florida State Seminole fans. The school’s redesigned specialty license plate was shipped to tag offices around the state today. The revised tag features the school’s new team logo and better reflects the official school colors of garnet and gold.
The FSU plate is the state’s second most popular specialty license plate with more than 62,000 of the tags sold last year. School officials chose to redesign the plate after the Seminole football team won its third national championship a year ago. The cost of the plate is $25 in addition to the state registration fees. Revenue from the sale of the specialty tag goes for academic enhancement at FSU. It can be ordered here: http://www.myfloridaspecialtyplate.com/florida-state-university.html |
